Don Milbauer President
After an impressive 39-year tenure in the construction industry, Don capitalizes on his immense knowledge with the establishment of Domain Builders. Leading a cultivated team of elite professionals, Don brings vision, direction, and guidance to his continued success in residential, multifamily, commercial construction and development projects.
Founding Domain Builders in Houston, Texas in 2016, Don seized the opportunity to offer the construction industry a fresh perspective. Despite a construction-dense region, Domain Builders challenges current standards by offering consciously executed plans and projects thanks to a breadth of knowledge from a loyal and vastly experienced team. In a short time, Domain Builders has made swift progress in bringing homegrown values of commitment, ingenuity and excellence back to the forefront of Houston construction.
Prior to Domain Builders, Don completed more than a billion dollars in multifamily projects spanning across Texas and the east coast from Boston to Tampa. Working with national development companies J.P.I., Greystar Development & Construction, and The Hanover Company, he obtained a multifaceted skillset which drives his deep-rooted team mentality. As part of these teams, Don oversaw all aspects of the operational successes of his teams, including due diligence process, environmental impact studies, budgets, scheduling, and consultant management.
A New York native, Don is now a well-acclimated Texan, having called the Greater Houston area home for 30 years. In this time, he has enjoyed watching and aiding in the dynamic success and growth of the community and city at large. Don is an active member of the Clear Lake Shores community where he happily embraces all the joys of being on the water, especially when joined by his wife and grandchildren.

Matt Long VP of Construction
Vice President of Construction at Domain Builders, Matt Long continues to enhance his track record in construction management. Matt oversees the estimating, planning, and execution for all Domain Builders projects.
Before branching out with Domain Builders, Matt spent five years with Allen Harrison Company, specializing in the construction and renovation of multifamily properties across Texas. During his tenure with Allen Harrison, Matt assisted in the construction of more than 2,500 new multifamily units, totaling over $316MM, while in Due Diligence and Project Manager roles. Matt’s experience with multifamily renovations and improvements totals over $5MM. In addition to multifamily projects, Matt also oversaw commercial TI buildout and renovation projects totaling over \$1MM.
Prior to his time with Allen Harrison, Matt was in Project Manager roles with Westbrook Construction and The Hanover Company where he oversaw three different projects, including the renovation of an occupied 31 story high-rise. Over the course of his career, Matt has a portfolio of over 10 wood frame and 3 metal and/or concrete frame projects.
Matt graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science.
